What is Cloudflare used for?

Mostly Cloudflare used to protect websites but it also providing content delivery network services, DDoS mitigation, Internet security, and distributed domain name server services.

How do I Get Cloudflare?

  1. Login to your Cloudflare account.
  2. Click on Add site.
  3. Enter your site’s root domain and then click Add Site. For example, if your website is www.redbuddy.in, type redbuddy.in.
  4. Cloudflare attempts to automatically identify your DNS records. This process takes almost 60 seconds to complete. Then Click Next.
  5. Select and confirm a plan level.
  6. Review whether all DNS records were identified in the DNS query results window.
  7. Click Continue. (If DNS records missing, Manually add missing DNS records.)
  8. Copy Cloudflare nameservers and replace these nameservers with your old nameservers.
  9. Now your domain setup is finished.

How to Disable Cloudflare?

  1. Login to your Cloudflare account
  2. Select your website
  3. Click on overview icon
  4. Click on Remove Site from Cloudflare Option Located in Right Side Bar
